Cbank: Russia’s August foreign trade surplus soars to $16 bln

MOSCOW, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- Russia’s foreign trade surplus more than doubled on the year to U.S. $15.797 billion in August, the central bank said in a report on Friday.

Exports amounted to $37.436 billion, rising 28.7% on the year, and imports stood at to $21.639 billion, down 3.5%.
